The holiday season has brought out the best of Long Island, with residents holding a toy drive in West Hempstead Saturday for families in need.
The nonprofit Rescuing Families organized the toy drive in the parking lot of G's Nightclub on Hempstead Avenue.
Once the toys were all collected, the organization says it will be delivering it to people in Nassau and Suffolk. So far, it says it's helping about 60 families by putting toys under the three.
Rescuing Families is raising money for families with disabilities, so they can renovate their homes.
