4h agoA West Babylon man is facing charges after being accused of driving drunk with a child in his car.
Police say Freeport officers initiated a traffic stop, in the vicinity of South Ocean Avenue and West Sunrise Highway Tuesday night after they saw a passenger throw a bottle out the car window.
That is when police determined the driver, 60-year-old Anthony Furtado, was driving while intoxicated.
A 4-year-old girl was in the backseat and was released to a family member.
