2h agoNews 12 has learned Liberty Utilities has filed a lawsuit against the Village of Lawrence - claiming it failed to pay nearly $800,000 for service to more than 200 fire hydrants.
According to the lawsuit, this happened over the course of almost four years.
Liberty says the money owed is for water services, taxes and late fees.
Court documents don't detail the dispute between the company and the village and there's no indication that hydrants have been cut off.
