Incumbent Riverhead Town Supervisor Sean Walter rebounded in his uncertain re-election bid with a victory in a three-way race.
Walter was running for a fourth term in office. He ran on the Conservative line after losing the Republican primary to challenger Jodi Giglio.
"I'm very proud of the record of accomplishment, and I think the residents understand it's not time to change horses," Walter said early on in the voting.
Giglio, a Republican town councilwoman, defeated Walter in the GOP primary earlier this year.
The Democratic challenger was businessman Anthony Coates.
