for pretending to be a police officer.
The Suffolk DA says Mary Ortega, 46, for allegedly
responded to shifts and a fire call wearing an NYPD uniform and also admitted
to buying a forged NYPD ID card and shield.
Ortega faces multiple charges including criminal
possession of a forged instrument.
Ortega is due back in court March 9.
