VOTE 2024: Suffolk County prepares ahead of Early Voting

Early voting begins across Long Island and New York State on Oct. 26.

Suffolk County's Board of Elections cut the ribbon Friday on its new, $2.8 million Early Voting and Training Center, which will securely house election equipment during the nine-day Early Voting period.
Suffolk's BOE Republican Commissioner Betty Manzella and Democratic Commissioner John Alberts say they have taken every step to ensure a secure voting and vote counting process ahead of the 2024 election, which is expected to have a high turnout.
Suffolk will have 28 early voting locations. Nassau County has 27.
Suffolk BOE commissioners encourage voters to take advantage of the extra opportunities to cast their ballots.
