Local volunteers recently went to work to support adults and children with developmental disabilities in Oakdale.
The volunteers from the Philanthropy Network Of New York planted trees and installed wind chimes for the ACLD facility.
Adults and Children with Learning & Developmental Disabilities is a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities find jobs and places to live.
The agency has several locations on Long Island.
