Video taken by a witness shows a forceful arrest involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Hempstead on Jan. 5.

The incident was posted by immigrant advocate group Islip Forward.

The group says agents rammed the man’s head against the brick wall while he was being detained in Hempstead at the Golden Farms Supermarket on Henry Street.

Details surrounding the incident, including what led up to the confrontation and whether any injuries were reported, were not immediately clear.

News 12 reached out to ICE for comment and are waiting for a response.
