Veterans from across Long Island kicked off a meaningful bike ride for their fellow service men and women Friday in Lindenhurst.
The ride is part of the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps raise awareness for members of the United States Armed Forces injured in the line of duty. The ride also helps service members connect with communities in an attempt to heal together.
