A Valley Stream man has been charged with murder in Inwood.
Anthony Iacomino is accused of killing Joseph Iacomino on Sunday, according to court documents.
According to court documents, the suspect went to the victim's Inwood Wahl Avenue home at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the victim was found dead with blunt force trauma on Monday.
Anthony is currently being held without bail.
He was arraigned on Tuesday.
Neighbors and people who are in the area often are shocked.
"I'm stunned and that's really sad," says Far Rockaway resident Sharon Wright. "It's always quiet. There's children everywhere. You don't expect to hear anything like that."
"It's scary. I live on this street," says Inwood resident Natalie Vasques. "I was coming out of work when I saw four cop cars and an ambulance. It's extremely rare to see them."
