The USNS Comfort has left New York City.
The hospital ship discharged its last 12 patients over the weekend, after providing relief for overcrowded hospitals at the height of the pandemic.
The ship has been docked in Manhattan since March 30 and now heads back home to Norfolk, Virginia.
The Pentagon says the ship's departure is a sign that progress is being made in the nation's hardest hit city.
