A Mexican Navy ship that struck the Brooklyn Bridge last month is on the move.

The United States Coast Guard towed it across the East River this morning from Pier 36 on the lower East Side to Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Ferry service was disrupted a bit earlier.

The East River was closed for a couple hours between the Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges when the ship was being moved.
