News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says it will be near 80 degrees Wednesday with cooler weather to follow.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 
-Near record-breaking warmth Wednesday with highs near 80 degrees. The record is 82 set in 2013.
-Rain showers arrive late Friday lasting through much of Saturday with a late day clearing. -
-Breezy, much cooler weather follows.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows near 57 degrees. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and warm with highs near 80 degrees. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with patchy fog. Lows near 56. Light southeast winds.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and a little bit cooler. Highs near 74. Lows near 60.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny with increasing clouds. Rain showers likely by the evening. Highs near 71. Cloudy with rain showers likely at night. Lows near 63.
SATURDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain in the morning. Rain may be heavy at times. Showers taper off from west to east late in the afternoon. Highs near 69. Partly cloudy and breezy at night with lows near 52.
