We do have warmer temperatures today. Yes, that's right. Mild temperatures, not as active winds thankfully. And we'll notice the winds out of the southwest will add on to that mild condition and high temperature for today reaching 50 degrees. Some of us, even 52 New York, you'll notice also our weather icons plenty of sunshine this afternoon. We'll notice some passing clouds, but that's it as far as you know, what can linger across our skies tomorrow though. You'll notice those rain showers into the afternoon in New Brunswick, 51 degrees. You'll expect the same across Edison and Newark 52 as well. In some locations though. We'll notice the rain arriving a little bit on the earlier side. So around 12 and to two, but that's for northern portions of the state across the state though. So central northern as well as southern portions, especially across the shore four and into seven o'clock into the afternoon, evening time frame could be expected to see that wet weather. How much, not much we're noticing trace to upwards, you know, 1/10 to 10th of an inch. So that's not significant rainfall. We're not noticing too much of major impacts with that today. It's sunny and chilly but feeling seasonable all in all we're supposed to be right where we're going to 50 degrees as a high temperature, 52 for some spots as well. Tomorrow we wake up into the thirties, we notice some clouds filtering in right around nine o'clock into lunch time. That's when we'll notice a lot of the system just, you know, breaking apart into two pieces first across Sussex and Warren County as well, North Bergen Counties as well. Then four o'clock, it's central southern portions and northern corridor, not as substantial as in the first round of rain, but nicely exiting right around seven and eight o'clock, calm conditions heading into the overnight. We start off on the dry side, too, more sunshine for Saturday, but it doesn't last for too long. The clouds will be back into play as well as those late showers arriving filtering in across for Sunday and Sunday. Then it becomes a Monday thing as well. So we're heading into the fifties, feeling so much better, even our overnight lows staying stuck into the forties.

Just Alex Kama. Fun fact, like you said, it's 10 degrees warmer today. Look at that. Yeah, it's so much nicer out there. We deserve this guys after two days of really feeling like January, we're back to feeling like November on the last day of the month. It's definitely not as cold this afternoon, but you do need the jacket this morning. I'll show you the temperatures in a bit. Showers arrive for Friday evening. So most of the day Friday dry, but it will be cloudy. The weekend looks really mild, temperature wise, but it is overcast the whole day. So waking up, you're in the thirties, it feels like twenties. But by 910 in the morning, we're all in the forties and then we move into the upper forties with lots of sunshine. The sunset is at 429. So we are going to absorb every moment of sun today, especially since we have a long stretch of cloud cover coming our direct starting tomorrow. So again, highs could hit 50 in a few spots. Most of us are just shy of it tonight. We drop into the upper thirties and low forties. So that's an improvement. You see Mott Haven at 38 for your Friday morning low and then you are 49 in frogs neck on Friday. So again, it looks like a mild day. But the difference on Friday is that it is mostly cloudy and we do have a few dry sprinkles. So here's the picture. You see most of Friday dry, but then four o'clock, a couple of these showers start to creep in by six o'clock. They push over our area. So it's kind of just sprinkling. It's not a huge impact, but you might need the umbrella Saturday dry, especially to start, but the clouds will be pretty thick. Temperatures are gonna be in the fifties just about all day and we're going to watch for that quick little stray shower chance Saturday evening. So here's how the weekend is shaping up. Definitely Saturday is the better chance for dry weather. Sunday looks more overcast with a better chance of rain in the evening, but both days will have their dry time and we're in the fifties. So it's hard to complain, especially for a first weekend in December, which is historically one of our coolest months out of the year. But this is not a bad forecast. All of these temperatures much milder than what we dealt with yesterday.

Studio. Thank you so much, Lisa. Looking at her today, you can see you're still going to need to dress appropriately. It's not like it's warm out there. She's not chattering. She's not shivering. We're getting better. Yeah. Yeah, we're getting better. It's, this morning is quite cold. I mean, we're around the twenties right now, but it's as we go throughout the mid morning into the afternoon, that's when you really will notice the difference today. It's still dark and early until we get a little bit closer to seven o'clock this morning. You'll see a lot of sunshine around today. It's going to be a nice bright day all throughout the lower Hudson Valley. These morning temperatures at best are around 30 to 34 in White Plains south into Yonkers right now. Elsewhere in the twenties, thankfully, the wind is very light, so not too much of a wind chill factor right now, but it is a cold start to the day. So you do want the heavy coat, the gloves that had all of that for the early hours this morning winds will stay light the entire day. Now, as we go through the morning hours temperatures will rise through the thirties will hit the 40 degree mark just before noon time today and we'll be in the middle and upper forties for those afternoon highs and that's going to be pretty seasonable for this time of the year. Normal average high right around 47 will be close to that. If not a degree or two below it, expect a few high clouds to build in this evening. It'll be dry but partly cloudy through the overnight overnight temperatures in the thirties to near 40 then tomorrow is going to be a nice start to our Friday, but there will be some scattered rain showers approaching for the afternoon. This is not a major storm. Rainfall totals continue to trend lighter and we're looking at rainfall totals under a quarter of an inch. With this just some spotty light rain showers tomorrow afternoon through about six o'clock tomorrow evening and then dry weather will push right back in overall into the start of the upcoming weekend. So in terms of what to wear today, you want to dress warmly early on during the afternoon. You really don't need the gloves, the hat and layers, but you certainly want the jacket with temperatures in the middle and upper forties. There still will be a slight chill around with that, but a gorgeous looking with a lot of sun as well by this evening and later on tonight, partly cloudy lows mostly in the thirties ahead of a day tomorrow where temperatures even creep a little bit closer to 50 with just a few spotty showers during the afternoon and through about six o'clock tomorrow evening. So nothing major and certainly no flooding, nothing like that tomorrow, mostly cloudy on Saturday. If anything, a touch of drizzle, but most of the day looks ok, better chance for a few showers on Sunday. Most of next week will be dry but turning colder with highs in the forties again. Starting Tuesday.

All right, let's get a check of the forecast with Rich Hoffman. It is going to be a bit warmer out there today. I am happy about that after the cold conditions this morning with twenties and thirties. How about temperatures in the mid upper forties? With that sunshine? We're looking much nicer around the island for today. We're getting back to average and actually a little bit above average towards the weekend, but we do have some changes coming our way. Some clouds, some wet weather will be on the horizon today, temperatures are in the mid and upper forties. You can see through Brentwood this afternoon. There's your sunshine, mostly sunny skies. A few clouds coming in towards this evening and for the evening rush hour dry weather conditions with temperatures in the mid forties, wind chills this morning have been in the twenties and thirties. Yes, it has been cold this morning. We're improving our weather during our afternoon hours. Take a look around the tri state region. Sunshine from the east end to the west end, Nassau County, seven County heading into the five boroughs of Queens down along the Jersey shoreline heading north today mostly sunny skies. Take a look at our temperatures here for today. 48 degrees, mostly sunny tonight. Partly cloudy skies. A little chilly to cold at 38 but not as cold. The last couple of morning we've had temperatures in the twenties with wind chills in the teens and twenties. The cold weather is with us. Now, going through the afternoon hours, temperatures, mid and upper forties, you can see here at around 330 going towards tonight. A few passing clouds, your evening rush hour will be dry with temperatures in the lower forties. For your Friday morning temperatures around 35 to 40 before eight o'clock. We're right around 930. Now, mid forties, even some fifties popping up more sunshine on Friday and then towards Friday evening, a few spotty showers start to develop some nuisance showers coming our way and an overnight Friday just kind of cloudy skies. But drier weather conditions into Saturday and a few more raindrops coming in Saturday night into your Sunday. So recapping your Thursday forecast today, forties to around 50 degrees, mostly sunny and nice afternoon. Then for tonight, lows are in the thirties, partly cloudy skies and then going into tomorrow, we can see here fifties after morning sunshine showers Friday evening, mostly cloudy Saturday showers coming in Sunday, Monday, but temperatures in the fifties

Yes, they were at Orchard Hills Elementary School in Milford Frankie and I got the pleasure of speaking to some kids. Some kindergartners. I know you look great. They look adorable dear, Mr Cuban. We are glad that you came to. Oh hs nice little thing, you know. Shout out to the kids. He also made a nice little models. Thunderbolt 12, which you might see here. Oh, let's see. Oh, wow. I hope you like the car or no, let's see here. Oh, this looks great. And they must have loved the lessons on weather. Uh They really knew their seasons asking questions. A lot of them loved it. The summer and winter there. It is. I love it. Oh, it's got a little, a little camera there on the top and the thermometer they called it. They even got to do, had him do, do some weather as well. They did a little bit of some demo forecasting. Well done. They're great at noon. I mean, they were, so listen, look forward to heading back out there in the spring talking to the third graders. I think we're gonna have lined up. But as far as today goes, temperatures are gonna be a lot better than where they were yesterday. Temperatures, numbers, I'll say closer to 49 with the National Weather Service recognizes as average now, still a little bit chilly to start. Make sure you grab the coat and bundle up as you're heading out the door. Numbers are gonna be just above freezing for a lot of us and then we're gonna translate them into the forties with a good deal of some sunshine. Winds are gonna subside a bit and the little wind that we do have a little bit different coming from the southwest. So again, that's gonna help things feel better as you are out and about and we still got that sunshine folks. So that's some good news. We continue to stay dry. High pressures in control, things change as we head into your Friday tomorrow morning is even better. Numbers are, we're gonna be in the forties. We're already gonna see that sunshine, clouds fill in late morning and then maybe if you're, you know, having a late lunch, you may have to dodge a few showers as you're out and about a little bit of a break by your late afternoon. And then as we head into the evening, the commute home, 567 o'clock, we'll have another chance of some showers so scattered throughout the second half of your tomorrow Friday night strive if you do have plans to hang out and then as we roll into your Saturday, we're starting off the weekend on the dry side of things. Again, a lot better for today. Still seeing that sun, mild temperatures milder than yesterday. We'll say we're still gonna be short of average by a degree or 232 for Newtown for today. 37 for Bridgeport, 35 for orange. And again, looking at your extended forecast, we're looking dry for the first half of the week.
