United Airlines resumes flights from JFK for first time since 2015

United Airlines is once again flying in and out of John F. Kennedy Airport after more than five years.
The carrier resumed service with round-trip flights Sunday from Los Angeles and San Francisco.
United hasn't had a presence at JFK since 2015.
Instead, the airline concentrated its New York-area service out of Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey and LaGuardia.
The carrier is taking advantage of a lull in air travel to grab space once again at Kennedy airport.
