United Airlines plans to hire 25,000 additional employees by 2026 for its new planes. This comes after United announced plans to add 500 jets in the coming years, including 270 Boeing and airbus planes. The jobs will primarily be at United's major hubs like Newark and San Francisco.
Uber is adjusting its work-from-home policy and will let office employees work half of their hours from anywhere. Employees also have permission to show up five days one week, and zero the next. This is a reversal from its plan in April when the company said employees can work from home two days per week beginning in September.
Google is launching a new suite of resources, including a new website called Find Food Support, which connects people to hotlines, SNAP information, local food banks, school lunch programs and other resources.
