A Uniondale teen is accused of calling in several bomb threats to his own school.
Police say 17-year-old Tahmari Lowe phoned in a threat Friday to Uniondale High School, prompting the evacuation of a building.
Officers say that after they arrived, another bomb threat was called in.
Authorities say six calls were made by Lowe since mid-September using an app on his phone.
Lowe was arraigned Saturday on six counts of making a terroristic threat. He pleaded not guilty, and is due back in court on Oct. 26.
School officials said in a statement that the safety and security of students and staff is their top priority.
