Police say a group of teenagers broke into a house in Merrick and threw a wild party while the homeowner was on vacation. According to police, the teenagers entered a house on St. Marks Avenue Tuesday.

Police say a group of teenagers broke into a house in Merrick and threw a wild party while the homeowner was on vacation.
According to police, the teenagers entered a house on St. Marks Avenue Tuesday. They say the teens broke glass, ruined furniture and ripped out plumbing. Neighbors say they saw only teenagers entering the house that night, no adults were present.
An 18-year-old from Bellmore and a 17-year-old from Merrick were arrested in connection to the incident. Both are charged with second-degree burglary.
