Tuckahoe town officials have submitted a revised long-debated proposal for a new commercial building complex to the County Planning Commission.
The proposed development off County Road 39 would include a grocery store, shops and a bank.
Many neighbors to the proposed complex have been against the plan since it was first proposed years ago. They say it would increase traffic on an already busy roadway.
The new proposal, which is scaled down, was submitted in June by the developer. According to the application, it was reduced by more than 10 percent.
News 12 Long Island reached out to the developer for a comment. They said the person who could comment about the proposal is out of the country.
