A Westbury man was arrested when a gun was found in his carry-on luggage Thursday at LaGuardia Airport, authorities say.
The Transportation Security Administration found the gun at a security checkpoint. It says the gun was loaded with eight bullets.
The man claimed he forgot he had the gun with him.
