Trader Joe's is expanding its footprint in western Connecticut with two new grocery stores.

One location will be at 46 Skiff St. in Hamden.

The other will be at 801 Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton.

The company says it's exploring hundreds of neighborhoods nationwide for future stores.

There's no timeline yet for when the new Connecticut locations will open.
