The Town of Hempstead's "vaxmobile" is out and about this week, stopping at Freeport High School Thursday.
The town has partnered with Mount Sinai South Nassau to try and get people vaccinated while also making it convenient.
Dr. Aaron Glatt, of Mount Sinai South Nassau, says it's critical to get the shot so that we can reach herd immunity.
Glatt says having the 'vaxmobile' makes it easier for people to get vaccinated.
