Two people suffered serious injuries in a fall Saturday afternoon at MacArthur Airport.

The Town of Islip confirmed that a man and a woman fell at escalators on the East Concourse checkpoint around 3 p.m.

Both were taken to Stony Brook Hospital with injuries that were non-critical.

The circumstances that caused the two to fall were not immediately clear as of Saturday evening.
