The Town of Brookhaven has announced it will offer a financial boost for some first-time homebuyers.
The town is offering up to $20,000 to help eligible Long Islanders with their down payments or closing costs.
The homebuyers must meet income and mortgage requirements and use the home as their primary residence for at least 10 years or the money will have to be re-paid.
