The competition is heating up on "Top Chef," and
for a contestant from Long Island.
News 12's Elisa DiStefano caught up with Central Islip
native Byron Gomez, who has a very impressive resume.
He says on "Top Chef" he has worked harder than he
ever worked in his life.
"It's very real, the challenges, the element of
surprise, the ingredients. They've done such an amazing job over the 18
seasons, it just keeps on getting better and better," says Gomez.
