The Town of Oyster Bay announced Wednesday that Tobay Beach will remain open with lifeguards on duty throughout September.

While the general beach season ends on Labor Day, town leaders say it will be extended for the following weekends:

• Saturday & Sunday, September 12 & 13

• Saturday & Sunday, September 19 & 20

• Saturday & Sunday, September 26 & 27

Beach stickers for the 2026 season will be honored, according to officials.
