A playful pup found itself in a tight spot after getting stuck between concrete balusters during a game of fetch. The Setauket Fire Department responded quickly, using dish soap, gentle hands, and hydraulic spreaders to safely free the dog.

The fire crew ensured no property damage occurred during the rescue. EMS evaluated the dog on scene and confirmed it was unharmed and it was happily rewarded with treats and affection.
