Everyone is searching for bargains these days to keep up with the crazy costs, but the trick is to know where to find them.

“You can get a lot of stuff for free on Amazon, which may come as a huge surprise,” says Dawn Yanek, of Reader’s Digest.

Yanek says don’t let your old electronics collect dust.

“You can go right to Amazon and go to their trade in program. You can trade in your old tablets, your old audio devices, and you can get gift cards,” says Yanek. 

Best Buy will also let you trade in your old stuff for gift cards.

In addition, online clearance is probably something to tap into.

Walmart has an online clearance center that you may not know about. You can have it delivered or pickup in store.

A tip, make sure to check return policies especially for refurbished or damaged box items.

Don’t forget many big box retailers will price match when you find a better price.
