A former worker of a beloved Huntington book store that shut down earlier this year is planning to open a new shop.
Former manager Mallory Braun is opening a new store after Book Revue closed in September after 44 years in business.
She's reached her $250,000 fundraising goal on her Kickstarter page. She says the new shop will draw inspiration from the past.
"We're going to have events, we are going to have workshops— pretty much everything that you loved about Book Revue, we are going to try to recreate,” Braun says.
Braun plans to call the new shop The Next Chapter and has the support of her former boss Richard Klein.
A new location for the store hasn’t been set.
