The 2026 FourLeaf Air Show returns to Jones Beach this weekend.

Usually held over Memorial Day weekend, the event was moved to Fourth of July weekend to coincide with America's 250th anniversary.

Here's what you need to know.

Schedule of events

This week, pilots have been making their way onto Long Island ahead of this weekend's show.

If you can't make it this weekend, you still have a chance to catch some of the action.

The show's practice session takes place on Friday, July 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Saturday, July 4, there will be a large fireworks display at Jones Beach starting at 9:30 p.m. Organizers highly recommend you get to the beach early to secure a parking spot. Live music will begin at 8 p.m.

The actual show will take place over the course of two days, Sunday, July 5, and Monday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Logistics

The parking lots at Jones Beach open up at sunrise. You could also take the Long Island Rail Road to the Freeport station and then take a the N88 NICE Bus to the beach.

Organizers recommend you bring with you anything you would normally need for a beach day including sunscreen, towels, chairs and a cooler for snacks and drinks.

Security may search bags at checkpoints leading into the beach.

Kites, drones, balloons, pets, alcohol, illegal substances and weapons are not permitted.

The show

The United States Navy Blue Angels are headlining, along with many additional military and internationally known civilian aerobatic performers, including the 106th Rescue Wing, NY Air National Guard, British Army Parachute Red Devils, the United States Army Golden Knights, Royal Air Force Red Arrows, Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the UAE National Aerobatic Team.

The show is the same on both days.

Merchandise is available for purchase online and on-site at Jones Beach. During the show, merchandise tents will be located near the West Bathhouse, in the Central Mall, and near the East Bathhouse.

15% of all online sales will benefit the Foundation for Long Island State Parks, Inc., a non-profit organization that supports the New York State Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation’s on Long Island.
