WHAT'S NEW: An Air Quality Alert has been posted for Long Island Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. It will be very warm and a little hazy at times.
WHAT'S NEXT: Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm Friday evening into Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon and Sunday are trending drier with a storm farther to our east but it will still be much cooler and a little unsettled with clouds and a passing shower.
