A temporary bridge is now installed at the Route 15 southbound over the Rockaway River in Jefferson.
The state's Department of Transportation closed the 124-year-old bridge last month out of an abundance of caution while replacing it.
Contractors are now working to level both on- and off-ramps of the new bridge.
Once completed, it will be paved, striped and open to traffic.
The expected reopening date is set for July 19.
