A teen is recovering this morning after being stabbed during a fight at a park in Huntington Station last night.
This is the second time this has happened in less than three weeks in this area.
Suffolk County police said a 17-year-old was stabbed in the torso during a fight at Manor Field Park around 7:15 p.m. Monday.
The male victim was taken to the hospital, treated and released.
On July 15, two teens were stabbed, including one who was critically injured, during a fight outside the annual Huntington Manor Firemen's Fair at Peter A. Nelson Park about 2.5 miles away from Manor Field Park.
Suffolk County police have not yet said if they made any arrests in the July altercation.
Investigators are asking for anyone with information on the latest stabbing to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
News 12 reached out early this morning to the Town of Huntington for comment on the two park stabbings involving teens but has not yet heard back.
