Teen pleads guilty in Middletown High School group assault

A violent attack inside Middletown High School has led to a felony conviction for one of the students involved.

Jennifer Ramirez-Castelan, 19, pleaded guilty to felony assault for taking part in a group attack on another student in March.

A teacher was also injured while trying to break up the fight.

Police said five others were charged, including four juveniles.

Ramirez-Castelan could receive five years of probation when sentenced in October.
