Teen charged in bomb threat to Long Beach High School

Police said the threat was made from a telephone.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with a bomb threat made to Long Beach High School.
Nassau County police said the threat was made via telephone around 7:35 a.m.
Following an investigation, police identified the caller as a male juvenile. He was charged with making a terroristic threat and released on an appearance ticket.
The teen is scheduled to appear in Nassau County Family Court on Oct. 9.
Due to the suspect’s age, authorities have not released his name. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
