18,000 Costco workers could go on strike as soon as Feb. 1 unless a new deal is reached before the last day of January.

Workers are asking for better wages and benefits.

Some teamster chapters have already staged practice pickets, including one on Long Island.

Costco has not commented on the possible strike or contract negotiations as of Monday evening.
