175ds agoA Syosset teen organized a fitness class at Title Boxing Club to collect donations for BRCA Strong.
The event was held Monday night to help try and knock out breast cancer. Ashleigh Mitnick, 15, says her mother is now one-year cancer free.
Mitnick says her goal was to encourage other kids who are coping with a loved one having cancer to try and have fun.
"We're going to play some fun music so everyone gets excited," says Mitnick. "Everyone is excited about the cause, and everybody is excited to just have fun boxing after school. So, it's just a fun activity to get everyone active."
