More than 150 Northwell Health nurses and allies showed up at Syosset Hospital Monday to demand change from their Northwell management team. 

They called for improved patient care, safer staffing levels and affordable retiree health care.

"It's time you earn your million-dollar salaries, which are made through our hard work,” says nurse Ann Tahaney. “Come down and see what it's really like and walk 12 hours in our shoes."

The nurses at Syosset Hospital joined over 30,000 New York State Nurses Association members calling for better contracts.
