Firefighters rescued a swimmer off the waters of Long Beach. 
The man was clinging to a jetty off Lafayette Boulevard just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday. 
Officials say when they arrived, one swimmer had already gotten out, but a man could not. 
Both swimmers were taken to South Nassau ED at Long Beach with minor injuries and issued summons for swimming without lifeguard.
