Another set of swastikas were discovered on the campus of Nassau Community College Friday.
The incident marks the sixth time in the past three months that the hateful symbols were found on the campus.
Police say the latest swastikas were found in a bathroom in the college's "G" building.
Dr. Jorge Gardyn, the chairman of Nassau Community College's Board of Trustees, says the school has reported all of the incidents to police immediately. He says the campus remains safe and secure.
"These are blips in the road from a very miniscule segment that are putting out ideas that are not conducive to what student life is like," says Dr. Gardyn.
Police are urging anyone with knowledge of the swastikas to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
