News 12 Long Island has learned a symbol of hate was found at a park in Woodmere.

Congressman Anthony D'Esposito tweeted the image of a swastika that was found at North Woodmere Park.

D’Esposito says a mother and daughter found it on Monday and that both Nassau police and Rockaway Nassau Safety Patrol are working on the case.

As News 2 has reported, last month messages of hate were found at Estella Park in Seaford.

Multiple pieces of playground equipment were marked.

Anyone with knowledge can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
