A fire at the former IBM building has been deemed suspicious by the Somers Volunteer Fire Department.
The fire broke out around 10:30 a.m. on March 30, with crews responding to reports of smoke inside. When firefighters arrived, they found a room burning roughly 100 feet inside the building.
Officials say the fire was quickly knocked down, with assistance requested from nearby departments due to the building’s size.
