A Westhampton man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash Friday in Hampton Bays, according to police.
Officers say they responded to a report of a two-car collision on Montauk Highway around 8:51 p.m.
Upon further investigation, they determined that 38-year-old Mateo Jimenez was drunk and arrested him at the scene.
Police say he was processed and held for morning arraignments.
No other details were provided.
