A Roosevelt man already behind bars has pleaded guilty to six bank robberies and two attempted robberies in Nassau County.
Police say 40-year-old Reginald Tucker was already in jail for robbing the Capital One Bank on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead back in September 2014.
Tucker has remained behind bars since 2014 and was re-arrested while in jail.
Police say Tucker wore many different disguises during his crimes, including a Rastafarian-style hat, sunglasses and several baseball caps. They say he stole $54,000.
Police say that information from a Crime Stoppers posting helped them identify that Tucker was involved in the robberies.
