A rally for Stamford mayoral write-in candidate Fritz G. Chery brought more than 100 supporters and community members to the Government Center on Monday.
Organizers say the event highlighted concerns including school district leadership, food insecurity, and housing affordability. Campaign leaders also spoke about voter registration, outreach, and how to navigate the write-in process.
"Stop accepting what is. Stop believing that you do not have a voice," Chery said. "A lot of people are angry. Give that anger a voice. On Nov. 4, I promise you, I promise you, if people show up, if people show out, we will change this city. If you are tired of politics, fill in Fritz."
