A student was struck by a car Monday while attempting to get to her school bus, according to a letter sent by the superintendent of the Eastport-South Manor Central School District.
The 13-year-old girl was crossing Montauk Highway in Eastport when they were struck, the superintendent says.
The junior high student suffered minor injuries and was conscious following the crash. She was taken to the hospital with her mother for further evaluation.
