Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says expect sun with some clouds for the next few days, but we’re tracking a shower chance for the weekend.
WHAT'S NEW: Nice, seasonable weather continues. A cold front brings the slight chance of showers Wednesday evening. There could be an isolated thunderstorm northwest of Long Island, but with easterly winds, most, if not all of the showers will dry up before they arrive.
WHAT'S NEXT: Weekend weather is trending drier with partly sunny skies. I'll keep the slight chance of a shower in the forecast Sunday night into Monday as low pressure tries to track north along the coast. Temperatures will be nice through the weekend with highs in the low 70s.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows near 49. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:27.
WEDNESDAY: Sun and clouds. Slight chance of an evening shower. Highs near 68. Partly cloudy, cool, and breezy at night with lows near 48. South to north winds 10 to 15 mph. Sunset: 8:12.
THURSDAY: Nice with sun and clouds. Highs near 70. Lows near 51.
FRIDAY: Sam's Pick of the Week! Nice and sunny with highs near 69. Lows near 52.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny. Highs near 73. Lows near 55.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny. Highs near 74. Mostly cloudy at night with the slight chance of a passing shower. Lows near 58.
MONDAY: Memorial Day. Partly sunny with the slight chance of a shower. Warmer with highs near 75. Lows near 57.
