Sun, warm temps to start the weekend; chance of showers for Sunday

WHAT'S NEW: A great start to the weekend with some showers possibly arriving as early as Sunday evening. Most of the weekend will be dry. Great beach weather tomorrow but it will be rough on the water. We have a small craft advisory, high surf advisory, and high risk of rip currents.
WHAT'S NEXT: Unsettled weather early next week with scattered showers from Sunday night through possibly Wednesday morning. It's not a significant rainfall but it's better than nothing since we're still in a drought. More warm temperatures next week with highs near 80.

OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and cool. Lows near 63. Light west winds 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY: Sunny and nice with warm temps. Highs near 83. Lows near 64. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
SUNDAY: Nice with sun and clouds. Chance for a few showers by the evening with a better chance for rain overnight. Highs near 80. Lows near 68.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with the chance of rain showers, especially in the morning. Highs near 79. Lows near 68.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with the chance of showers. Highs near 80. Expect more rain showers at night with lows near 68.
WEDNESDAY: Chance for some rain in the morning then partly sunny. Highs near 81. Lows near 65.
