A 17-year-old is accused of shooting a 15-year-old girl in East Setauket.

Police say it happened Friday around 11 p.m. on Tenpoint Lane.

Police say the girl was in a car when it happened. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The male suspect is facing robbery and assault charges. The names of the suspect and the victim were not released.
