A group of teens in Suffolk County got a surprise visit from police officers who had recently faced off against them on the soccer field.
Earlier this month, officers joined the teens for a friendly soccer game at a field in Centereach. The teens initially thought the officers were going to tell them to leave the park. Video of the matchup went viral, showing the officers taking on the young players.
The group reunited on Friday for another special moment. Some of the teens reportedly hope to become police officers some day, but all of them received a tour of police headquarters.
The players also went home with special Suffolk police soccer balls to remember the experience.
